THE BEST WAY TO TAKE CBD
So you’ve decided to join the CBD UK movement but you’re facing so many types of products and brands that you just don’t know how to find the right CBD product for you. Don’t worry, we’ve all been there and we’re here to help you find the right CBD product.
The Different Applications of CBD
It's the most popular and common way of taking CBD!
People love CBD oils because they’re efficient, fast-acting and easy to take. Taking CBD oil is a way to have it stream in the rest of your body. Drop it under your tongue for 60 to 90 seconds, this will let the oil absorb into your gums and go into your bloodstream.
Oils are people’s favourite because they’re an innovative way to take your supplements, what else do you take as an oil form? But they’re mainly popular because of how quickly they act. When taking supplements, we never really know how long we’re supposed to wait until we start feeling something. If you take an oil (and take it correctly), it takes about half an hour to have an effect. You just need to find the right strength and you're all good to go.TheDrug.Store's best CBD oils:
The next best thing after an oil.
CBD capsules and CBD tablets are starting to gain popularity and for good reason! Many people find the idea of dropping oil in their mouth a bit odd and if it’s not done correctly, there’s a high chance that might complain and say that it’s not working for you.
Well, you have none of that when you take a CBD capsule or tablet.
Apart from efficiency, many people’s first criteria when they’re looking to buy a new food supplement is convenience. Capsules are convenient because all of the work is already done for you. No need to measure your amount of CBD or to wait until it absorbs, especially when you’re rushed in the morning and you just need to leave the house.
They're also suitable for everyone. Even though some capsules are made with bovine gelatine, we're very happy to be able to provide our customers with vegan capsules.
Swallow your CBD capsule with a glass of water and you’re good to go.
Because you have to digest them, capsules take a bit longer than oil to have an effect.TheDrug.Store's best CBD Capsules:
Food supplements are great because they help support our wellbeing with some amazing ingredients but sometimes they’re just not pleasant to take. Dropping oil under your tongue? Takes too long. Taking a capsule? You don’t like swallowing tablets. We want to be healthy but we also want to avoid the fuss and make it easy.
If that’s how you feel, then CBD edibles are exactly what you need. Edibles are the perfect on-the-go option to take CBD. You can keep them on your desk at work, in your bag, they’re easy to travel with the most fuss-free way of taking CBD and they almost make you forget that you’re buying CBD. With their sweet and “easy” taste, take one whenever you feel like you need that little boost and feel the effect.TheDrug.Store's best CBD Edibles:
First off, what does that word even mean? We’re getting a bit technical here. Topicals is just a fancy way of saying ‘cream’. Topicals are creams, lotions, serums and everything else you can lather on your skin.
CBD skincare is on the rise, and we’re approaching winter which means that we need to take extra care of our skin! Our skin is the largest organ of our body so taking care of it should really be one of our priorities. We’ve reached a time where using natural and organic products have really become a priority. When choosing your skincare routine, you really want to make sure you stay away from alcohol, harsh chemicals and perfumes. But the bigger question is what are the ingredients that you should add?
We won’t pretend like we know everything but using CBD in your skincare is a great way to look after you skin.
Cannabis beauty has taken over now and it’s time for you to join the movement! Adding CBD to your skincare will help protect your skin from pollution and anything else that’s out to get your skin. There are CBD skincare brands but many ‘mainstream’ skincare brands have also jumped on the CBD train and are now incorporating CBD (and not hemp seed oil) in their products.TheDrug.Store's CBD Skincare and Beauty Products:
CBD creams are not only great to help with your skin, but they’re also great to help with your body movements. Like we said before, taking CBD as an oil is great because it will go through your whole body but using a cream is great to target a specific area.
What’s a transdermal?
Apply the cream on areas where you feel like discomforts are hitting. Using a transdermal will target the area and act faster than an oil.
Many of our customers who use a transdermal actually find that using an oil or capsules as well as a transdermal is a great combo to support your overall wellbeing but also to keep targeting those areas.TheDrug.Store's Best CBD Creams:
As odd as it may sound, using cannabis and CBD for sex or for your monthly discomforts are actually worth the try. The idea of putting CBD vagina may seem like a crazy idea at first but just like for transdermals, it’s a perfect way to target the area. In the end, it’s just a different type of application but the end-result is still the same.
Definitely take it easy and use whatever you’re comfortable with, but at least you know it is an option for you and for your intimate health.
Using CBD in the bedroom is perfect if you want to feel more relaxed and zen and feel overall more comfortable. Give it a try and see how you feel.

How Much CBD Should You Take?
That’s probably one of the trickier questions when it comes to CBD because we’re all different and our bodies all have different ways of absorbing and processing CBD. The more important your body mass is, the more you’re going to need.
We always tell our customers that the standard amount of CBD they should start with is 16mg to 20mg. The best thing to do is to start low and go slow: if you feel like taking 16mg is not working for you, take a little more each time until you find the amount that makes you feel glorious. It’s really about trying and finding what works for you.
How Often Should I Take CBD?
The frequency of how often you’re taking CBD depends on the type of product you’re taking. CBD is more efficient when you take it in larger doses, so if you’re taking an oil or capsule for instance. If that’s your preferred way of taking CBD, you can take some in the morning and then take more towards the end of the day. If you feel like you could take more during the day, always feel free to do so. It’s like the amount you should take, there are no rules and it really depends on how you absorb it.
If you’re more of a CBD edibles and CBD sprays type of person, then you’d need to take it more often. The thing with CBD edibles is that most of them do not contain a lot of CBD and when you eat them, because it has to be digested, you lose some of the CBD. In the end, you don’t end up with a lot of CBD so you’d need to take it quite often to feel a clear effect, which may sound like you need to take a lot. But that’s also the beauty of edibles. You wouldn’t buy a pack of mints or gummy bears and only eat one, you’d always eat two or three, which is why the amount of CBD.
If you’re applying a cream, you can obviously be generous with how much you’re applying, but also make sure you give it time to have an effect. It’s always tricky when we’re applying creams, whether we want the effect to be external or internal, we always expect immediate results. Well, unfortunately that’s not how it goes and you need to give it a bit of time to have an effect. So just because you’re not seeing results, make sure you don’t overdo it because it would be a waste.
Can I Take Too Much CBD?
If you head to Google or any other search engine, you’ll realize that many people are wondering if they can take too much of a food supplement. B12, vitamin C, Omega 3 and so many more. People are obsessed with taking food supplements as we’re all slowly realizing that the food we consume doesn’t contain all the benefits they promise.
So just, like for every food supplement, even though they’re good for you take everyday, there’s also an amount that’s recommended everyday. Your body can only handle a certain amount of everything, just because something is good for you doesn’t mean you can absorb insane amounts and feel good.
We always advise not to take more than 200mg of CBD everyday which is a lot more than what people usually take everyday.
So yes, you can take too much CBD but it is also very unlikely.
